We’re starting the 2016/17 season with some huge news from the top teams. For example, one of the most successful managers of our time Josep Guardiola will make his debut in the Premier League. The Spaniard was appointed by Manchester City, so now everybody waits to see if he’s able to repeat his success with Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Guardiola already spent more than 160 million euro this summer, signing players like John Stones, Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus, Ilkay Gundogan and Nolito. And he still has time to sign somebody else!

The other club from Manchester – Manchester United was also very active during the summer. The Red Devils appointed Jose Mourinho on helm and they also broke the record for most expensive transfer in history, paying 105 million euros to Juventus for Paul Pogba. Another big name who signed with United is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is about to play his first season in the Premier League. Other players who were signed by United are Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Baily.

Chelsea is another big club who is about to start the season with a new manager. The Londoners managed to sign Antonio Conte, who build a solid reputation during his time with Juventus and the Italian national team. Chelsea paid the impressive 39 millions for Marseille’s centre forward Michy Batshuayi, while the central midfielder N’Golo Kante was signed from the champion Leicester for 35,80 millions. We are still about to see if Diego Costa is about to remain in the team or not.

Jurgen Klopp is about to start his first full season with Liverpool. The German was appointed during the last campaign, but now he had the chance to work with the team during the summer. Klopp already made some improvements of his squad, with his most expensive signing being Sadio Mane from Southampton. Georginio Wijnaldum from Newcastle is another good player who was signed by The Reds.

It’s still all quiet for Arsenal. The Gunners spent 45 millions for the Swiss internationa Granit Xhaka, but except him, Arsenal still didn’t do much on the market. But they often spend big in the last days of the summer window, so be prepared for surprises.
