Barcelona – Manchester City
Barcelona against Manchester City is arguably the big derby of the night at the Champions League on Wednesday.
Barcelona’s former manager Josep Guardiola is coming back to the Camp Nou once again, after he already did it with Bayern Munich in 2015. It was not a fortunate experience for Guardiola then, after his team was beaten with 3-0. Now he will have the chance to show a different face with a different team – Manchester City.
Barcelona are the current leader in Group C with a full amount of 6 points from the first two games, while The Citizens surprisingly lost two points against Celtic in Glasgow. If they win at the Camp Nou, they will lead the group for a first time.
Both teams will try to impose their possession football, so we should expect a fierce battle for the ball and a very technical play from both sides. Barcelona are labeled as favourites because of their home ground advantage.
