Manchester United – Norwich City

Manchester United hosts Norwich City at the Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday.

Manchester United need every point they can win right now, being locked in a fight for a Top 4 finish. At this moment the Red Devils are 5th in the league with 31 points, but they are already 5 points behind the 4th Chelsea, so no room for mistakes right now. United lost two of their last four games in the league and that’s no good.

After their loss against Arsenal at the Emirates, Manchester United played two cup games in the matter of three days. First they finished 0-0 with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup, while after this they suffered a 1-3 defeat at home against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup. Three consecutive games without a win – this is United’s record in the last three matches.

Manchester United’s manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can’t use key players like Paul Pogba and Harry Maguire, who are injured. Rojo, Fosu-Mensah and McTominay are also unavaliable.

Norwich City are at the bottom of the league with just 14 points won so far. The Canaries are 7 points behind the 17th Aston Villa and the safe zone, so for them every game until the end of the season is going to be a matter of life and death.

Norwich scored two draws in the last two league games against Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace. Last week recorded a win, though. Daniel Farke’s boys progressed in the FA Cup after a 4-2 win against Preston North End. The 18-years old Adam Uche Idah shined with a hattrick, while Onel Hernandez also scored for Norwich.

We regard Manchester United as a very strong favourite against Norwich City at the Old Trafford on Saturday. The hosts can’t allow themselves to make a mistake at home against the last team in the league. Not now.
